Jerome Martins Oliveira, CEO of the Port of Djibouti, DP World, hold an Msc in Management Logistics and Engineering of Transport from the University of Sciences and Technology of Lille (France); holds also an Msc of Management and Finance from the Business School of Paris (France). He joined DP World in June 2007 as CEO for both the Port and the Airport and was then promoted to the top position as Chief Executive Officer on March 2008. Previously, he worked for international business groups where he was instrumental in their development through their subsidiaries located in the African continent.

Djama Ibrahim Darar, Commercial Director of Djibouti Port, DP World, East Africa Region holds an Msc in Management and International Consultancy from Marseille( France); holds also a diploma from the CEFED ( Center for Economy, Finance and Banking studies) (France) and an under- graduate degree of Management of Enterprises from Aix-en-Provence( France). He is a member of the French Institute of Auditing and Internal Control (IFACI) which is affiliated to the I.I.A (Institute of Internal Auditors). He is also the president of German-Djibouti Cultural Association which promotes culture exchanges between Djibouti and Germany. He joined the Port of Djibouti in November 15th 1985 as Supervisor at the Container Terminal Technical Department. During his career of 24 years at Djibouti Port and before becoming the Commercial Director, he held key management positions in different departments of the PAID such as;
• Technical Advisor of the Port General Manager
• Head of Purchasing Department
• Head of Invoicing and Documentation Department
