P&O Ports handles approximately 80,000 units of import automobiles per year as well as export RORO cargoes.

Port Overview

Situated between New York and Boston and at the entrance of Narragansett Bay, the Port of Davisville in Rhode Island provides one of the best deep-water ocean ports on the east coast. Major cargo arriving at the port includes automobiles, quarried stone, and general cargo. The port has three major piers with over 6,800 linear ft. of deep-water dockage with onsite rail tracks.

The Port of Davisville is operated by the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation (RIEDC).
